Lorna is the second seasonal release from Nc'Nean's whisky series, Quiet Rebels. This series showcases the team behind the Nc'Nean brand. They compromise of a small team of drink lovers who share the same eco-conscious mindset.  

This release celebrates Lorna, the first team member at Nc'Nean. Lorna kicked off her career at Nc'Nean keeping all the builders and contractors fed whilst the distillery was in its building phase. Once the distillery was built, Lorna began to tackle making the whisky. Lorna has turned the stillhouse into a greenhouse growing tomatoes, courgettes and luffa plants, and has even managed to grow an avocado plant in the highlands of Scotland.

ABOUT THE DISTILLERY / BOTTLER


The Nc'Nean Distillery is situated on the west coast of Scotland and released their inaugural single malt, Ainnir, in August 2020 - just 3 years after the first run of spirit production. The distillery pride themselves on being a certified organic scotch whisky, using recycled glass for their notable bottle style. Nc'Nean are also pioneers for running exclusively on green energy and utilising renewable electricity.

Nc'Nean is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, known as the Queen of Spirits in Gaelic legend.
