This single malt from the Lowland distillery Kingsbarns, is distilled using Fife barley and then blended from spirit matured in two types of casks: ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts & ex-Bourbon Barrels.

The resulting whisky is filled with flavours of fruit & spice.

Flavours reminicent of an apricot pastry in the morning.

ABOUT THE DISTILLERY / BOTTLER

Kingsbarns distillery was founded by Douglas Clement. He conceived the idea in 2009 whilst working as a golf caddy at St Andrews, when he realised there was no nearby whisky distillery for the St Andrews golf course's visitors to go and see. He decided on a derelict farm building for his site, based just a few miles from St Andrews.

In 2013, Clement sold the business to the Wemyss family to ensure the fruition of his dream, though he remained as director. Within 18 months, the distillery was finally up and running, opening to the public in December 2014.
