The first bottling from Nc'Nean's spring, seasonal release is the Huntress 2022. This has been inspired by Neacheohain who in ancient greek legend is The Queen of Spirits, the goddess of wild animals, the rivers, the hills and the moon.

Yeast is fundemental in the making of this whisky and this bottling is an exciting yeast trial. This single malt is made with a combination of three yeast varieties, including one that is commonly used to produce rum.

ABOUT THE DISTILLERY / BOTTLER

The Nc'Nean Distillery is situated on the west coast of Scotland and released their inaugural single malt, Ainnir, in August 2020 - just 3 years after the first run of spirit production. The distillery pride themselves on being a certified organic scotch whisky, using recycled glass for their notable bottle style. Nc'Nean are also pioneers for running exclusively on green energy and utilising renewable electricity.

Nc'Nean is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, known as the Queen of Spirits in Gaelic legend.
