The sixth and final release in The Macallan Edition series.
The Edition No.6 takes inspiration from the natural wonders of the River Spey which sits in The Macallan Estate. The five different and distinct cask types used to create the final release are all hand picked by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner.
This has also been created in collaboration with Hardy, to again pay homage to the natural landscape and the inspiring River Spey. A fish well known to the Spey is the Wild Atlantic Salmon, which is becoming an endangered species. Macallan are working with The Atlantic Salmon Trust to help raise awareness if this and to support conservation work on the River Spey and beyond.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
